Join me and Nadia as we explore the Coppersmiths’ Bazaar at Naqsh-e Jahan Square in Isfahan, Iran 🇮🇷✨
In this video, we take a walk through one of the traditional bazaars surrounding the historic Naqsh-e Jahan Square and discover the beautiful world of Iranian handicrafts.
From beautifully crafted copperware and silverware to serving trays, decorative dishes, vases, mirrors, and traditional metalwork, every shop offers something unique.
We also take a closer look at Ghalam-zani, the traditional Persian art of engraving, where skilled artisans create delicate floral, geometric, and traditional Iranian patterns on metal surfaces.
The history of the bazaar goes back to the Safavid period, when Isfahan became the capital of Iran in the late 16th century. Today, these historic markets continue to preserve the craftsmanship and traditions that have been passed down through generations.
Come along with me and Nadia as we explore the colorful shops, traditional crafts, and historic atmosphere of Naqsh-e Jahan Square. ❤️
