The genius girl: restarting a 2003 Morooka MST1500VD (11,000 kg) abandoned outdoors for 19 years. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- I discovered this massive 2003 Morooka MST1500VD after it had been abandoned outdoors for 19 years. Weighing around 11,000 kg, this old tracked dumper had suffered years of rust, dirt, weather exposure, and mechanical deterioration. I decided to take on the challenge of bringing this abandoned Morooka MST1500VD back to life. In this video, I inspect the machine, clean years of dirt and corrosion, repair damaged components, work on the engine and mechanical systems, and attempt to start this giant machine again after nearly two decades. Working on such a large abandoned tracked dumper was one of my most challenging mechanical projects.
