Getting our old Portuguese stone house one step closer to becoming a cosy home. In this episode, I tackle the final dusty jobs before moving on to the next stage of the renovation. Removing old wall footings, cleaning out years of old mortar and debris, and preparing the beautiful granite stonework for repointing. With the messiest work slowly coming to an end, it's time to start bringing this old house back to life, one stone at a time.
