Hannah Ruana Crochet Tutorial

The Hannah Ruana was inspired by the first chronological book in the Practical Magic series by Alice Hoffman. The series is about the Owens family. Hannah in the book discovers Maria in a field. She takes Maria in and raises her and teaches her everything she knows. Without Hannah, Maria may not have been as extraordinary. I was inspired to make this ruana and call it Hannah because many people in our lives are not blood family, however, they mean every bit as much to us. In this video I tell you how to make the Hannah Ruana for any size body. This pattern is easily adjustable. You can use any yarn in any hook. If you use a larger hook with any given yarn you will have better drape. I used Truboo by Lion Brand in this video which is a bamboo yarn and it has beautiful drape.
