We'll explore Vanilla Basement at daytime and try to find the last two missing red stars. Expect lots of aimless wandering about. I don't want to look up the locations of the red stars, it'd spoil the sense of accomplishment on finding them myself. Anyone can watch, but I won't be able to see or interact with the chat as I'm streaming from my Steam Deck in handheld mode. A friend convinced me not to look anything up. I'm so glad I didn't. The joy when I found the red star in the Dream 64 recreation by accident and later remembered about the Cave Dungeon level, found it and got my last red star was incredible. Only thing I regret is not ending the stream at that point. I was getting sleepy. The sloppyness in the final Bowser level was down to me being tired. But it's fine, we did it. It was a fun and successful stream. We even found new yellow stars and stuff I missed before. I learned a lot more about the castle layout by now. My least favourite area is Polygonal Chaos. That place is dreadful to navigate and I know it's intentional, it does its job well. I'm super curious what my star count will be after Star Road. I know there's 460 stars in total. There is still one regular level I haven't been able to find. A jungle with purple poison water. I thought it was in Parallel Lobby, but haven't been able to find it again.
