This $1 DISC Under Your DOORMAT Steals Power From Your Own Feet

Step on your own doormat and nothing happens. Step on a tile a British firm sells and a lamp lights - and there are over three hundred of those floors down in more than forty countries, none of them under a mat. There is a disc in your house that costs about a dollar and takes one strip of tape, and I have the arithmetic on paper. It is not a number either of us is going to enjoy.
