This tutorial shows how to use CLOCK as eight independently configurable rhythm channels. Starting from One Clock, I switch to Independent mode, select an individual channel and walk through the settings that control its timing and output behaviour. CLOCK is a 10 HP Eurorack master clock, rhythm generator and gate sequencer with eight outputs built around a common deterministic master timeline. In Independent mode, each output can run its own Clock, Euclidean pattern or gate sequence while remaining synchronized to the same underlying timebase. In this tutorial: • switching from One Clock to Independent mode • selecting individual channels with the encoder • opening channel settings with a long press • DIV/MULT, NUMERATOR and DENOMINATOR • SWING and GROOVE • METER BEATS and METER UNIT • PROBABILITY and GATE • PHASE and RESET • MUTE The walkthrough uses CLOCK’s native simulator. It is not a hand-built animation or a fictional UI: the simulator is part of the project itself and exercises the same firmware behaviour and rendering used for development and testing. Production transparency CLOCK is still actively being developed, which means its interface and behaviour can change. To keep tutorials accurate without repeatedly rebuilding and filming every sequence by hand, these videos are generated from reproducible scripts driving the project simulator. This makes it possible to regenerate and update a tutorial when the software changes. The narration uses synthetic speech based on a clone of my own voice. It is used for the same reason: to keep narration synchronized with rapidly evolving tutorial material while retaining a consistent voice across the series. The firmware, native simulator and the scripts used to generate these tutorials are available in the public project repository, so the process and the software shown here can be inspected directly: https://github.com/napolitano/eurorac...
