What does an ordinary weekend look like when you live in a country at war?
In this vlog, I’m taking you through a normal day in my life — waking up, studying for my future, working out, grocery shopping, and going for a walk.
But even simple things like grocery shopping feel different when you’re living with war, inflation, rising food prices, and uncertainty about the future.
These few simple groceries cost me about three days’ worth of work.
I’m a 30-year-old radiology technician, and I’ve decided to start studying again because I want to create a better future for myself and hopefully have the chance to migrate and continue my education.
My family is currently separated across different countries, and one of my biggest dreams is to eventually be reunited with them and build a safer, better life together.
I don’t know exactly where this journey will take me, but I’m documenting it one day at a time.
If you’ve been here before, thank you so much for your support. And if you’re new here, welcome. 🤍
