🇪🇸 BRITS LIVING IN SPAIN – OUR SUMMER STAYCATION IN SPAIN! ☀️ When family comes to visit us in Spain, we always try to make the most of their time here – and this summer was no different- 𝙀𝙎𝙋𝙀𝘾𝙄𝘼𝙇𝙇𝙔 as it was Chesca´s 21st and Niks BIRTHDAYS Even after 20+ years of family visiting Spain, there are still new places to discover, new experiences to enjoy and plenty of amazing food to try. So, rather than simply staying around the pool, we set off on a Spanish summer adventure exploring some of our favourite places – and a few places that were completely new to us! Our summer staycation takes us to Alicante City, where the family visited the city AND Alicante Central Market for the very first time – despite having been coming to Spain for more than 20 years! We also enjoy some fantastic food, including visits to Restaurant GONG, Lebanese food at El Lebano, a special birthday celebration meal with a spectacular view at Restaurant Punta Prima, and Chinese food at Yu Hai WOK in Dona Pepa. But it's not all about food! 😎 (⬅️𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙄 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 🤣) There's plenty of adventure and fun along the way, including go-karting, white-water rafting in Blanca, Murcia, and our family's first ever visit to Los Alcázares on the Mar Menor. And of course, no Spanish summer would be complete without plenty of time relaxing by the pool, enjoying the sunshine, experiencing Spanish culture and simply making the most of having family here. 🇪🇸 This is what we love about living in Spain – there's always somewhere new to go, something new to experience and another reason to get out and explore!
