Nanga Parbat Base Camp Pakistan | Most Dangerous Mountain In The World | Episode 5

Welcome to Episode 5 of my Gilgit Baltistan Bike Travel Series! In this unforgettable adventure, I travel to the legendary Nanga Parbat Base Camp through the breathtaking Rupal Valley in Astore, Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. Our journey begins on the scenic road from Tershing Village, surrounded by spectacular mountain landscapes and lush green valleys. After reaching Tershing and enjoying a delicious local meal, we continue towards Rupal Village, where we stop to witness the magnificent Nanga Parbat Glacier and discover how glacier melt forms the powerful rivers flowing through the valley. Along the way, I share the beauty and history of Rupal Village before reaching the horse camp, where motorcycles can no longer continue. From there, we ride horses for nearly one hour through one of Pakistan's most breathtaking mountain trails to reach Nanga Parbat Base Camp. At the base camp, you'll experience the incredible Rupal Face of Nanga Parbat, the world's 9th highest mountain, surrounded by lush green meadows, glaciers, and towering peaks. The campsite is filled with international visitors, including climbers and tourists from different countries preparing for expeditions. During the journey, I also meet a foreign traveler and have an interesting conversation about the beauty of Gilgit Baltistan and why travelers from around the world love visiting this incredible region. Finally, we continue to the famous Nanga Parbat View Point, where we stand at the foot of the mighty mountain and enjoy breathtaking close-up views of the glacier, the massive rock walls, and the unforgettable natural beauty of Pakistan.
