Wetlands - Death Scenes

Wetlands failure compilation. All Game Over animations from Wetlands. Wetlands is essentially one of Cyberia knock-offs: Sci-Fi Rail Shooter with pre-rendered 3D backgrounds. However notable differences are: action takes place underwater; there are no adventure parts - plot advances through animations in-between shooter stages; characters are hand drawn instead of 3D models. I would say this animation choice really makes Wetlands stand out - it aged better than most counterparts, since this is so rare to see today. One other interesting thing to note: Wetlands came out in 1995 - as did Waterworld. So it wouldn't be difficult to conclude that movie might have served as an inspiration for the unusual setting. #FMVgames #Animation #DOS
