The energy in the shop, cracking packs of a brand new set before anyone else, and sitting down for quick 40 card battles with the community made this one of my favorite Pokémon TCG nights ever. I pulled the Masquerain deck, went 1 and 2 in my matches, and had the best time from the first pack to the last prize pack. Stay for my HUGE Mega Golisopod ex Special Illustration Rare at 5:54, and stick around to the end for my Delta Reign prize pack opening and my honest impressions of the set! MY PRERELEASE DECK: MASQUERAIN I got the Masquerain promo (MEP 111), so this was my chance to test out Bug Out! Masquerain uses Bug Out for just 1 Grass Energy: reveal the bottom 7 cards of your deck, and every Pokémon there with Bug Out adds 50 damage. Sizzlipede and Spinarak keep the bugs coming, and Sacred Ash shuffles them right back into your deck. Playing the bug deck and then pulling a Bug type SIR felt meant to be! ALL 4 DELTA REIGN PRERELEASE DECKS • Masquerain (MEP 111): the Bug Out deck • Magmortar (MEP 112): Buddy Boost powers up Electivire for a huge Voltaic Hammer • Enamorus (MEP 113): Incarnate Solidarity with Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus • Kommo-o (MEP 114): Beat Scales fuels a 170 damage Hammer In WHAT'S IN THE DELTA REIGN BUILD & BATTLE BOX • A 40 card ready to play deck • 4 Mega Evolution Delta Reign booster packs • 1 of 4 foil promo cards • A Pokémon TCG Live code card Prerelease games use 40 card decks with 4 Prize cards, so they are quick, fun, and perfect for every experience level.
