Paul Bissonnette on Matthews, McKenna & DENOUNCING His Leafs Fandom

Paul Bissonnette joins Nick Alberga & Zack Phillips to discuss the Maple Leafs, Auston Matthews' resurgence, Gavin McKenna's early NHL impact & why he denounced his Leafs fandom following John Chayka's arrival in Toronto! Biz breaks down what's changed with Matthews, including his improved foot speed, usage & health, and weighs in on whether Toronto is a good team or simply an entertaining one. Plus, with Chris Tanev sidelined, could the Leafs target a big-name defenceman like Zach Werenski at the trade deadline? The guys also dive into the blockbuster Matthew Knies-Kirill Marchenko deal, question why Toronto's management groups have been willing to move Knies, and get Biz's thoughts on McKenna's game so far (and why the rookie gets him going!). Finally, Biz explains how his loyalty to Shane Doan factored into his decision to turn his back on the Leafs after Chayka's hiring. 🔥 SUBSCRIBE for more Leafs coverage, interviews & daily hockey talk! 📺 Leafs Morning Take airs LIVE Monday-Friday at 11 AM ET. 🎧 Listen wherever you get your podcasts! 🚨 Subscribe to DFO Toronto on Youtube!🚨 ➡️    / @dfotoronto   🎙️LMT INTERVIEWS 📺    • Interviews   🎧 LISTEN TO LMT 🎧 ITUNES: https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast...
