The Anglo-Scottish border is one of the oldest in the world, but have you ever thought about walking right up to it? Join me on this walk from the outskirts of Berwick-upon-Tweed along the windswept Northumberland coast all the way to the Scottish border at Marshall Meadows Bay. Along the way, we pass a number of interesting spots, including Magdalene Fields Golf Course, the East Coast Main Line, the A1 road, sandstone sea caves, 50m-high cliffs, an off-road motorcyclist, the hamlet of Marshall Meadows, some sheep, and of course the Scottish border itself at England's northernmost point. 0:00 Berwickshire Coastal Path 1:35 Fisherman's Haven Beach 1:58 Berwickshire Coastal Path 2:49 Sea caves 3:53 Magdalene Fields Golf Course 4:54 Berwickshire Coastal Path 14:07 A train! 14:22 Berwickshire Coastal Path 20:32 Many seabirds perched on a rock 21:04 Berwickshire Coastal Path 22:24 Wind turbine 23:04 Berwickshire Coastal Path 25:00 Being overtaken by a motorbike 25:44 Berwickshire Coastal Path 31:43 Our motorbike friends returns 32:10 Berwickshire Coastal Path 36:00 View of Marshall Meadows from a distance 37:28 Berwickshire Coastal Path 39:48 Marshall Meadows caravan park 45:01 Half a mile to go until the border 45:28 Northernmost farm and sheep in England 50:35 Berwickshire Coastal Path 53:17 The Scottish border and northernmost point in England 54:14 Crossing into Scotland 54:25 Welcome to Scotland! 54:37 Thank you for watching!
