The Forchlauf is an exciting running event that begins at ASVZ (Akademischer Sportverband Zürich) in Zurich, Switzerland. Participants gather at the starting point, filled with anticipation and energy for the race ahead. As the race commences, runners embark on a 21-km or 10-km journey through the scenic surroundings of the Forch area. The route initially takes participants towards the Forch monument, a significant landmark in the region. Runners follow a well-marked course and as they make their way towards the Forch monument, they can enjoy the serene landscapes, including wooded areas, rolling hills, and picturesque countryside. Upon reaching the Forch monument, participants turn back, heading towards the finish line located at ASVZ. This provides an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the route from a different perspective. Throughout the course, aid stations are strategically placed to offer runners the necessary hydration and refreshments to sustain their energy levels. Volunteers and spectators cheer on the participants along the route, providing encouragement and support. The Forchlauf 21 km offers runners an opportunity to push their limits, immerse themselves in the beautiful surroundings of the Forch area, and experience the sense of accomplishment that comes with completing a half marathon.
