Tin Casting & Flint Knapping at Butser Ancient Farm

In March 2026, we hosted a free day for locals to visit the farm and try out a range of heritage crafts, some of which are at risk of disappearing completely if the skills are not passed onto enough new craftspeople. In this video, we explore the process of two heritage crafts tried on the day - tin casting and flint snapping.
