Regner Tram Power Unit

Here is a Regner tram power unit that was returned to me with extensive fire damage. To minimalize any damage should this happen again, I have had to make a few modifications. It's fitted with an air restricting collar on the burner. The gas tap was re sealed and tightened for more control. A copper shield was mounted at the front to protect the springs and pistons. A copper plate was mounted underneath over the large hole to protect the gears and wheels, leaving just a slot for the big gear and for the condensate to drain. This large hole is also there to allow air in for combustion, so as I had covered it up two large holes were drilled in the smokebox saddle to allow air in.
