The President of Shiromni Akali Dal (Amritsar), J&K, Narendra Singh Khalsa, said we stand with DOMA.

The President of Shiromni Akali Dal (Amritsar), J&K, Mr. Narendra Singh Khalsa, said that the Sikh community fully stands with the Doma Confederation, Dalits, OBCs, minorities, and Adivasis in their struggle to secure their fundamental rights, reservations, and constitutional guarantees. He further said that since the downgrading of Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood on August 5, 2019, there has been a massacre of democracy and an indignity to democratic values, and that democracy no longer exists in its true sense. He stated that they are committed to striving for the restoration of fundamental rights, the protection of the Constitution and democracy, and the safeguarding of the fundamental rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He made these remarks during the fourth Chintan Shivir of the Doma Confederation, held in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir.
