NH 48, Bharuch - Surat Freeway, part of NH 48 which is ~86.3 Km ( 53.62 miles ) long. NH 48 was known as NH 8 which had 4 lane , but after building 6 lane route, NH authority changed it to NH 48. This is the India's most busiest highway because more than 90% traffic prefer this route if they are travelling from north-east to south or south to north/north-east.
