A Free London Rooftop Garden… Then 311 Steps With a Toddler! | Guide #006

We headed into London for a little Daddy & Daughter adventure, starting at The Garden at 120 — a free rooftop garden in the middle of the City with brilliant views across London. After exploring the rooftop, looking out over the buildings and having a wander through Leadenhall Market, we carried on to Pudding Lane and finished the day by climbing 311 steps to the top of The Monument to the Great Fire of London. I wasn’t sure how far she’d want to climb, but she did almost the whole thing herself — I only had to carry her for roughly the final 20 steps. The Garden at 120 was a really nice little find: free, loads for her to look at, and plenty of space to wander around. And I thought 311 steps up the Monument might finally tire her out.
