How to Weld a Nissan H233B Differential | WD21 Pathfinder Rear Locker Mod

This video shows how to weld a Nissan H233B rear differential found in WD21 Nissan Pathfinders, D21 Hardbodies, and other Nissan trucks. If you’re looking for a cheap rear locker solution for your Nissan trail rig, welding the differential can dramatically improve off-road traction for crawling, mud, snow, and technical trails. In this video I walk through removing the H233B third member, cleaning the carrier, welding the spider gears, and reinstalling the diff. This particular axle came from my WD21 Nissan Pathfinder “Project Cheapfinder,” but the process is similar for many Nissan H233B rear axles.
