4Runner Build Series EP3: ARK Splash Guards

After putting 285/70R17 Falken Wildpeaks on 17x8.5 Method MR305s, my 4Runner started rubbing the factory front mudflaps. In this video: what's rubbing and where, the first fix I tried (trimming the mudflap), and installing ARK TriXpoly Splash Guards. THE SETUP Wheels: Method MR305 NV, 17x8.5, Bronze w/ Black Lip Tires: Falken Wildpeak A/T4W HD, LT285/70R17 (about 32.7", the "33" size) Suspension: Eibach Pro Truck Lift Stage 2 WHAT I USED ARK Splash Guards RESULT The ARK splash guards fixed most of the rub. What fully solved it was an alignment afterwards: the shop adjusted the caster, and the rub was completely gone. If you're running 285s and still rubbing after a mudflap delete, get an alignment with a caster adjustment before you start cutting more. Previous: wheels + tires install (mod 2 of 18).
