Webinar 1: Tackling the Climate Crisis, Scottish National Adaptation Plan

The first webinar of four providing a straightforward summary of Scottish National and Regional Climate Policies. What is the Scottish National Adaptation Plan? How does it affect your community? And how can you harness it to your advantage? We all know that policy can be dry and boring, but it affects our everyday lives and having a general understanding of it can hold our communities in good stead in this ever changing world. Join us at Forth Valley Climate Action Hub for a series of accessible, online webinars on the Scottish Government's Climate Policies and how they influence Regional Policies down to a local level. This first webinar will be on September 17th from 2pm-4pm and looks at the Scottish Government's National Adaptation Plan. "The Scottish National Adaptation Plan sets out actions to build Scotland’s resilience to climate change. It does this through support for our communities, businesses, public services and nature to adapt to the changing climate in a way that is fair and inclusive" We will explore the Plan, how it affects regional plans and strategies, its impacts and opportunities, and how our communities can engage and harness it.
