Between the last subtitled Touhou vocal video and this one, a lot has gone on in my life, the more relevant things being rebranding my channel to fit my fanartist brand and having a moral dilemma over using other people's art for these videos. And as an artist myself, I am all about having artist permission where given and properly crediting others. I've even considered just doing art myself for future sub vocal vids, which is honestly a very likely avenue for me. But in the meantime, I'll stick to using either album art or closely related art (all human-made, of course). This video is an example of the former, using the gorgeous album art for 花-MABOROSHI by KiTA. I discovered TsuBaKi a few years back when I listened to the off-vocal version of silenced majority, and that song alone amazed me. As such, I had to listen to the album it came from and all the other songs on it. There's a good number of other songs by TsuBaKi I wanna made subtitled videos for... but I need English translations for them first. If only my own Japanese to English skills were up to par 😔 I'm also looking into other ways to make these videos a little more interesting than just picture and subtitles. Let's hope it's possible in Vegas Pro!
