Tun Dr Mahathir & Tun Dr Siti Hasmah ❤️ A Love Story Through a Lifetime | In Loving Memory

❤️ 𝐀 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐓𝐮𝐧 𝐃𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐮𝐧 𝐃𝐫 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐢 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐡 first met as young medical students in 1947. From carrying her books to studying together, their friendship slowly grew into love. On 23 April 1949, Tun M finally told Hasmah how he felt — and she felt the same. ❤️ They married in 1956, beginning a journey of 70 years of marriage and a lifetime of memories together. Perhaps this, too, is the meaning of longevity — not simply how many years we live, but the love, purpose and memories that fill those years.
