LucasBio is a cell therapy company founded in 2019 by Professor Seok-Goo Cho of the Department of Hematology at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital. Under the vision, “Redirecting Cells to Restore Immunity,” LucasBio develops innovative cell therapies for diseases with high unmet medical needs, including viral diseases, immune disorders, and cancer. With a particular focus on virus-specific memory T-cell therapies, LucasBio has established integrated capabilities spanning R&D, preclinical research, clinical development, and GMP manufacturing. To date, the company has conducted three MFDS-authorized clinical trials and five MOHW-approved advanced regenerative medicine clinical studies, translating scientific research into therapies for patients. LucasBio also operates an MFDS-designated GCLP laboratory, providing reliable clinical trial sample analysis, including immunogenicity assessment, supported by specialized expertise and robust quality management.
