TOIVOLA LIVE – Hassan Maikal & Sointi Jazz Ensemble | Concert Supported by Genelec

‪@toivolafestivaali‬ is an intimate live performance show for interesting artists from the Nordics. TOIVOLA Live is powered by Genelec. https://www.genelec.com/-/news/genele... The unique multitalented singer-songwriter ‪@HassanMaikalFI‬ is a touching and fearless storyteller. Hassan was born in Tampere, Finland, to his Somalian parents in 1996. He has been hailed as one of the most important voices of his generation, both musically and as a cultural commentator. In 2021 Hassan dropped his widely recognised studio album ”Betonitarha”, which earned him multiple Finnish Music Award Nominations, including Album of the Year. His second album ”Ilmaista Terapiaa” was released in the year 2024 and was recognised by the biggest media publications in Finland, and it was described as ”having bold lyrics” and ”Hassan’s smooth voice is like sweet honey”. Hassan and Sointi Jazz Ensemble brought the house down with their lifting, melodic sounds and almost literally broke the windows with their presence. Hassan took the center stage with his radiant energy. It felt like we were invited to his living room. Thanks for the invitation Hassan and Sointi Jazz Ensemble!
