This piece is an ode to that quiet metamorphosis—an intimate acoustic harp and soft vocal homage to the beauty that needs no fanfare to be noble. -----------------------LYRICS----------------------- Where silent waters run, Beneath the morning sun, Deep in the shadow, cool and gray, The river drifts away. Out of the quiet earth, A gentle, noble birth— A single bloom begins to rise, Unfolding to the skies. Untouched by mud and rain, Without a care or stain. Pure in the water, White as the snow, Soft in the current’s flow. Calm and unbothered, Sovereign and free, A silent queen for all to see. No restless crown to wear, Poised in the open air. While all the rushes bend and sigh, She lets the world go by. A sculptured curve of white, Drinking the golden light, Rooted in peace, serene and tall, Unshaken through it all. Untouched by mud and rain, Without a care or stain. Pure in the water, White as the snow, Soft in the current’s flow. Calm and unbothered, Sovereign and free, A silent queen for all to see. The river whispers low, The gentle breezes blow. She keeps her stillness, clear and deep, While shadows drift to sleep. Pure in the water, White as the snow, Soft in the current’s flow. Calm and unbothered, Sovereign and free, A silent queen for all to see. Quiet and free… In morning light… The water bows… To white. By GRACE RIVER
