The Damned - Live @ ????, Berlin, West Germany, XX/XX/81

A very interesting show where Dave Vanion was spiked with acid, rendering him in no shape to perform whatsoever. He makes a valiant attempt (eventually), but only lasts maybe a minute, then collapses to the floor. No Vanion aside, this was a very good Damned show, with Captain Sensible taking over the lion's share of the vocal duties. Rat Scabies sets his drums on fire. Captain Sensible sets their amp on fire buck naked. At one point, everyone swaps instruments, Scabies on guitar, Sensible on drums, random British blokes filling in on vocals. Overall, an unusual and great show from the legendary Damned. This could've been either the SO36 Club or The Loft, sometime in Summer 1981.
