From ICU Nurse to Catholic Convert!

Why would someone leave a 15-year career in nursing to work for a local church? In this episode of the Trusting God Podcast, Grant sits down with Natalia Brady to discuss her radical journey of faith, stepping away from financial security, converting to the Catholic Church, and learning to surrender every detail of life to God. From dealing with emergency life-threatening pediatric medical crises to homeschooling and finding joy on pilgrimage in Rome despite severe food allergies, Natalia shares what biblical sacrifice really looks like—and how God uses our most ordinary talents for His glory. ⏱️ In This Video: 00:00 - Trusting God: Episode 59 with Natalia Brady 00:44 - Leaving a 15-Year Nursing Career for Church Ministry 02:45 - The Myth That "Only Holy People Work at Church" 04:09 - Reading the Bible as a Teen & Hitting the "Graveyard" 05:22 - How to Read Scripture: The Bible is a Library 07:45 - Conversion Story & Raising a Catholic Family 10:00 - Homeschooling with a Catholic Curriculum 12:51 - Counting the Cost: The Financial Sacrifice of God’s Call 15:14 - King David & What True Sacrifice Costs (2 Samuel 24:24) 18:55 - Trusting the Lord Through Life-Threatening Food Allergies 20:51 - The Emergency Anaphylactic Crisis & Med-Flight 22:24 - Rome Pilgrimage: Joy Amid Strict Dietary Restrictions 26:50 - The Crocheted Sacred Heart of Jesus 29:35 - Using Your "Simple" Gifts for God’s Glory 33:15 - Parish Life, Teamwork, and Excellence 35:02 - Closing Prayer & Blessing For more information about St. Michael the Archangel Pastorate, visit: 🌐 Website: https://stmichaelpastorate.org/ 📱 Facebook (St. Augustine, Rensselaer):   / staugustinerensselaer   📱 Facebook (Sacred Heart, Remington):   / sacredheartremington   📷 Instagram:   / stmichaelpastorate   🎥 YouTube:    / @st.michaelthearchangelpast999   🟣 Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast... 🟢 Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/7f6OQsJ...
