Today, the Valley Of Silent Men Second Line kicked off the new season, bringing the streets of New Orleans to life with brass band music, dancing, culture, and plenty of NOLA energy! This was no ordinary day in the city, it was a SCORCHER! With temperatures reaching the mid-90s and the heat index climbing to around 108–110°F, the heat was definitely felt throughout the parade.
