What's this? The thumbnail has limited colors? Oh yes, it's tine for the X-8 Night Sniper. I even humorously name the episode title after it. It's rare that I do that nowadays... Same for characters as well. That's a more a Krispy thing, huh? Oh, and another thing I should mention: this is when I started splitting these Cargo episodes into 2 parts and combining them together so we can get the full match. Gone are the days where we miss out on the first minute of the match. You know...unless I just forget or mistime the recording splits. Anywho, speak in the first match where I use this thing with no prior training, I don't see no idea what to expect. This is the weapon I definitely paid attention to the least. The night vision sounded cool, but otherwise, I didn't care about this thing whatsoever. That's going to change very soon. In fact, this might be the last "new" blaster I will use, so nothing else will be a surprise at this point, I think... I also like the taunt fest with someone who I can't see. Maybe it was Nihiles. The first person I kill, I wasn't terribly impressed by the damage output, but maybe there was just something I was missing. While trying to get the cargo back, I died to another magnificent dead roll. Great. So the score is still tied for the moment. I do enjoy the extra vision I get with the night vision though. It just makes things so obvious. The cargo got dropped behind some windows, and I tried to destroy the windows to get them quicker, but the cargo was somehow returned even though no one was there yet. Sure. Also, I got some nice action outside of the landing pad. I'm sorry to see this thing's strength. I also died to a really well-placed grenade throw. I was impressed by that one. After the setting the stock up on a power-up and a charge, I head to the Rebel bunker and get a few good kills. Though, I somehow get killed by someone who I swear wasn't even looking at me. Good 'old Scatter Gun. Remember the windows I destroyed from earlier for a cargo box? They came in handy because I was able to get a trade kill on a Rebel. Rebels are pouring in now, so we have to focus. I also got checkmated because I could die from a Thermal Imploder, or get blasted by a Secondary Fire. If the analytics for this episode aren't just a ton of bumps, I'm gonna be really confused... A little bit of a clever moment where I waited for a Rebel to pass me as well before killing them while they was chasing a teammate. I get to steal the cargo, and I also get a double kill off of it too. Unfortunately though, my teammates are nowhere in sight, so I get killed off. I guess they were playing defense at our bunker. While we're waiting to regroup, I noticed one of my teammates acting a little weird. Maybe they're stupid or maybe they're controller is broken. Relatable on both counts. I must say that I am glad that the night vision is helping for scanning the area, even if things are totally dark. There was a moment where I got distracted by an R5 unit, and I couldn't take out both Rebels at their bunker, but it's fine. As long as we can maintain this lead, we'll be okay. I get a pretty great spawn point where I'm put right in the line of fire of a Blaster Cannon. No, it doesn't matter what the Rebels do anymore att this point. We've basically won... Even if I'm on a dying spree at the moment. The X-8 is really funny to use. I'm gonna enjoy using this thing for quite a few episodes until we get to the "Broken Controller Arc".
