Winnie Chua – Chopin Scherzo No. 1 in B minor, Op. 20

Chopin Scherzo No. 1 in B minor, Op. 20 Winnie Chua performs Chopin’s Scherzo No. 1 in B minor, Op. 20. Composed during a period of great personal and political turmoil for Chopin, this masterpiece is a whirlwind of dark, demonic energy juxtaposed with a hauntingly beautiful middle section based on a traditional Polish Christmas carol ("Lulajże, Jezuniu").
