Sako ninna sneha, a javali (depicting the khandita nayika) in kannada portrays a dialogue between a husband and wife, where the wife taunts him about his night long tryst with another woman. She says, ‘don’t you come and express your love to me, I know all about your meetings with her. I see you hastily run to her at every beck and call and you sit there gawking while she works her charm on you. My dear husband, don’t take me to be a fool, I’m tired of this act you put up everyday. Don’t expect me to be meek and submissive and serve you like a dutiful wife. It is best that you leave my house and go to her”.
