Summer Cycling in the Netherlands | Klinkenbergerplas, Oegstgeest

The Netherlands has been scorching hot these past few days. Nothing better than getting the bikes out and heading to the lake to cool down and enjoy the summer vibes. On our bike journey from Voorhout to Klinkenbergerplas in Oegstgeest, South Holland, we passed plenty of other cyclists making the most of the beautiful weather. Lekker weer! :) Klinkenbergerplas is a popular lake located between Warmond, Sassenheim and Oegstgeest, making it a perfect cycling destination for a summer day in the Netherlands. After a short bike ride, we arrive at the lake for a refreshing swim and a relaxing afternoon. It never fails to amaze us how easy it is to cycle between cities and towns in the Netherlands. You barely have to think twice before planning your entire journey on the fietspad.
