Vaishnavi Naik (25) and her brother Vinay Naik (29) of Harmal have turned their childhood interest in making Akash Kandils into a creative venture over the past eight years, alongside their regular jobs. This Diwali, the siblings have handcrafted over 1,200 colourful Akash Kandils, along with decorative items and reusable rangolis. Their journey, which began with just 200 pieces, is now attracting customers and customised orders.
