Walking on the nature!

A team of 26 dedicated doctors from SNM Hospital, Leh, visited Miru Village for a special day of nature, community, and rejuvenation. The visit was thoughtfully organised by Dorjey Achi, Thardos Shara, Goba Tsering Palden, and the villagers of Miru. After breakfast in Miru Village, the team embarked on a day-long nature walk towards the beautiful Achi Valley, covering approximately 9 km on foot. The trail took us through the rugged and spectacular landscape of eastern Ladakh, with steep climbs, open meadows, mountain streams, and breathtaking views along the way. The walk was not only an opportunity to experience the natural beauty of Achi Valley but also a chance to step away from the demanding routines of hospital life, reconnect with nature, and spend time together in a peaceful environment. For the doctors, who dedicate their lives to caring for the health and well-being of others, this day offered a different kind of healing—fresh mountain air, physical activity, friendship, and the restorative power of nature. A memorable day of walking, laughter, exploration, and appreciation for the incredible landscapes and communities of Ladakh.
