Berri Garbage - 3403

Here, we see one of the Riverland Sways in action rolling through the streets of Berri early at around 9am on a Monday morning. On this trip, I was staying here for 2 days and 1 night Camping and took this as an opportunity to document a council so regional to South Australia. As I arrived in the town, I was pretty surprised to see no sign of the greenwaste truck anywhere and decided to look for garbage which was pretty easy to track down as he was just off of the main street that pierces through Berri. From then on, I got the all clear to film and got my first footage of this Region. My personal take on the Riverland fleet is that its very much overlooked due to the fact that they have newer technology but despite this, it dosent make it bad to film whatsoever. Especially with their 3 unique signage variants that relate to the Councils landscape. Whenever the Riverland/Cleanaway contract terminated and Solo had won it. Solo Yards from Adelaide gave up a few of their older units to take place in the kerbside collection temporarily until the Sways had been delivered. With one still at the yard until this day. Which I was aiming to film as one of their trucks was off when I was staying but it didn’t go to plan as It sat in the yard during the time I was here. I do have much more footage from this council stored which will soon be released to the public soon but for now will stay as unlisted.
