A NEW GALIYAT ADVENTURE SERIES BEGINS! 🏔️🌲 In Episode 1, I take my Yamaha YBR125G into the beautiful Galiyat region and begin an unforgettable adventure toward Mushkpuri Top—one of the most spectacular mountain destinations near Dunga Gali/Nathia Gali, Pakistan. This is not just a bike ride but a journey through tough, rough and demanding mountain trails, surrounded by forests, fresh mountain air, natural landscapes and the incredible people who come here to explore. Mushkpuri Top rises to approximately 2800 metres (9200 feet) above sea level and is regarded as the second-highest peak in the Galiyat region after Miranjani which reaches about 2992 metres. The mountain lies in the Nathia Gali Hills of Abbottabad District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in the wider Ayubia National Park area. The journey itself is an adventure. Depending on the starting point, hikers use different approaches toward the summit; the well-known Dunga Gali–Mushkpuri route is around 2.5 km one way, while other approaches and recorded routes can be longer like from Nathia Gali, Its 4 km said to be possibly an easy trail. 🥾 THIS TRAIL TESTS YOU! The climb demands strength, courage, patience and determination. The trail passes through beautiful forested mountain terrain before opening toward the higher summit landscapes. Weather can change quickly in the mountains, so preparation is important. If you are planning to explore Mushkpuri Top, carry sufficient drinking water, snacks/food, comfortable hiking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing and whatever personal essentials you may need. Do not underestimate a mountain trail simply because it is a popular tourist destination but what makes this episode particularly special is the PEOPLE I MEET ALONG THE WAY! During my journey, I meet enthusiastic young men, young women, students, families, children and other nature lovers who are exploring Mushkpuri's trails.
