Quantum Chemistry 11.7 - Pi Resonance

Short lecture applying Huckel theory to pi resonance in conjugated polyene molecules. The coupling between adjacent carbon atoms in molecules such as 1,3-butadiene allows Huckel theory to correctly predict a stabilization due to resonance in conjugated polyenes.
