This Controversial RPG Game is Too Explicit to Play

In 2017, a game titled “Black Souls” appeared on DLSite. The game quickly became popular due to its dark and twisted yet mysterious story despite being an adult game. Developed by Sushi Yuusha Toro and published by Otaku Plan, Black Souls is a dark and twisted RPG maker series. The game heavily borrows mechanics from Dark Souls such as the ability to gain souls, and the game world being semi-non linear much like the soul series. However, due to the game being made using the RPG Maker engine, some sacrifices had to be made such as the battles being done in a turn-based style but this doesn’t stop the players from enjoying the game.
