Spats Langham's Hot Fingers play Rose of Washington Square at Albrighton

Spats Langham’s Hot Fingers with Emily Campbell play “Rose of Washington Square” for Jazz Club 90 at Albrighton 21.4.19 The line-up was Spats on banjo/guitar, Danny Blythe on clarinet, bass clarinet, guitar and harmonica, Malcolm Sked on bass, tuba with the delightful Emily Campbell on vocals, cymbal and kazoo. The number was dedicated to Tommy Burton with whom Spats spent many happy years. A most enjoyable session of 20s and 30s music by four excellent musicians with the added bonus of the anecdotes by Spats who has a bottomless pit of knowledge about the music of that era.
