The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) and Austmine hosted a webinar for mining industry professionals, partners, and stakeholders in the Philippines, showcasing world-leading Australian solutions and global best practices for maximising value from complex orebodies. The Philippines is one of the world's most mineral-rich countries, with significant deposits of nickel, copper, gold and other minerals essential to global industry and the energy transition. Its complex geology, variable ore grades, tropical climate and challenging terrain create opportunities for specialised innovation, technology and expertise to improve productivity and processing performance. The webinar featured six world-leading Australian METS companies, which explored innovations being implemented at mining operations globally to improve orebody characterisation, reduce variability, optimise processing and strengthen operational performance.
