Baldur's Gate 3: Legend of Bravak! Episode 9: Infiltrating Moonrise Tower

Episode 8 took Bravak and the party deeper into the Shadow-Cursed Lands as we finally found a reliable way to survive the curse. After joining forces with the Harpers, we hunted down Kar’niss and his group, defeated the drider, and freed the pixie trapped inside his Moonlantern. In return, we received the Pixie Blessing, giving the party the protection we need to move freely through the Shadow Curse. From there, we made our way to Last Light Inn and met some of the people still holding out against the darkness. Things quickly went sideways when Marcus revealed himself as a True Soul and attempted to kidnap Isobel, forcing Bravak and the party into another major fight to protect the inn. Between episodes, Bravak and Karlach’s relationship also took another step forward off-stream so we could avoid any potential YouTube issues with the game’s sexual content and nudity. Now, the party is ready to push even deeper into Act 2. Episode 9: Infiltrating Moonrise Tower With the Pixie Blessing protecting the party from the Shadow Curse, Bravak and the crew are finally ready to explore more of the region and start closing in on Moonrise Towers. Before we make our move on the tower itself, there’s still unfinished business with the Thorm family. Tonight, we’ll be tracking down the remaining Thorm siblings, seeing what kind of trouble they’ve caused throughout the Shadow-Cursed Lands, and uncovering more of the twisted history behind this place. After that, it’s time to head toward Moonrise. We know the tower sits at the center of everything happening in this region, but getting inside is only the beginning. There are still plenty of unanswered questions surrounding the Absolute, the True Souls, and the forces working behind the scenes. As always, we’re taking our time with the dialogue, story, exploration, and character moments instead of rushing through the major beats.
