The police deploy a ‘Special Investigation Unit’ to investigate and eradicate the robot crimes. The Tobot team in Daedo city works alongside Detective Hera Oh of the Special Investigation Unit to defeat the criminal robots. However, the law enforcement Tobots C and P refuse to acknowledge each other, and the Special Investigation Unit continues to clash. Around this time, Han's parents return, forcing him to move home. The change in residence makes it difficult for him to coordinate with the Tobot team, ultimately leading him to quit as a pilot. Later, he discovers a Mind Core, seemingly discarded in the trash pile in front of his house. With Franklin and Limo's help, he creates ‘Tobot Pop’. Meanwhile, Dr. M, preparing for the full launch of ‘Project M’, tests his limits by controlling modular robots. However, due to the prohibitions imprinted on him during development, he cannot confront the police or directly attack humans. To gain complete freedom, he demands Eugene work to remove these limitations. Simultaneously, he plans to seize Pop, activated by Han, to harness its mind power.
