Muir Woods 2010

It was May of 2010. It was a vacation to visit friends in California, but it turned into so much more. Things just worked out right. In a break from LA, I drove up PCH to San Francisco; just something I wanted to do. It was unforgettable. From the Carmel hotel that just happened to have only ONE room left, to the perfect weather and scenic stops along the way, it was... lucky. This is a video that never posted. Another amazing stop, this time at Muir Woods. Just dumb luck made me wake up early one morning in Mill Valley. I decided to head to the park, not knowing what time it opened. When I arrived, I was one of the first people there. Was able to park right in the circle entrance. I decided to go on a longer hike. No one was there yet. It was extremely quiet and peaceful. And hour or two later, as I returned to the main pathway (and the gathering crowds), I realized just how lucky I had been to arrive so early and enjoy the peace of nature. #MuirWoods
