Lights & Sirens Cruise Parade | Woodward Dream Cruise 2026 Kickoff in Royal Oak

We came to Royal Oak to stay with family and watch the Woodward Dream Cruise. Only a few hours after arriving, we learned that its kickoff parade was happening that night - about a block from where we were staying. Organized by the City of Ferndale, the Lights & Sirens Cruise Parade kicks off the Woodward Dream Cruise festivities and runs from Ferndale into Royal Oak. The Woodward Dream Cruise itself takes place the following day along a much longer stretch of Woodward Avenue, from Ferndale to Pontiac. This is what we saw.
