Twisted Metal 5 Fan Game Version 3.0 (Neo Tokyo Challenge w/ Calypso Nuke Mobile: Nuke Your City)

Driver: Calypso Voiceover Bio: Not having competed since I reclaimed the tournament from that freak Sweet Tooth, I figured I'd knock the rust off and enjoy the destruction from a closer point of view. Stats: Armor - 5/5 Speed - 5/5 Handling - 5/5 Special - 5/5 (Nuke Missile; 66 points of damage on the main hitbox, 33 on the 2ndary hitbox) Originally, I intended to do a basic Tournament run with Calypso Nuke Mobile. But combining gameplay with the Neo Tokyo Challenge means I can showcase both new content added for this update. Calypso's Nuke Mobile has been a heavily requested vehicle for Angel, and this vehicle has finally made its way into the game as a skin for the TM2 Comic-based vehicle that Calypso uses as the default vehicle. Naturally, this means that the Special changes into being the nuclear missile from TM4. It does huge single hit damage (it's hefty, although not quite as ridiculous as the amount it initially had when Angel accidentally made a coding error that resulted in it doing 2x its intended damage) and the explosive radius is very large. The hitbox lingers for a long time, which gives you a lot of leeway for it to still deal full damage even when you miss. On the other hand, the Special's explosive AoE is incapable of hitting more than 2 enemies max (an error that Angel most certainly did not intend and is trying to figure out), so it does lose some of its awesomeness. At the very least, it has a faster regen time compared to the TM2 vehicle (lengthy as they both are), so you'll have more nukes coming up sooner than later. Neo Tokyo is a secret level that's exclusive to Deathmatch only (bit of a bummer that it's not playable in Tournament Mode), and one of my favorite additions to this update. It combines the blueish color palette of TM3 Tokyo with the futuristic elements of TM4 Neon City and the upper roofs from TMHO Tokyo Streets. Missing out on Tournament Mode, it instead gets to be the site of a special challenge that's exclusive to this level, providing the first "Endurance" type gameplay for TM5. 9 waves, 7 boss waves, 1 final wave and 1 final boss wave against nearly all the vehicles in the game, ending with a final showdown against Calypso in his Nuke Mobile. The level is aesthetically pleasing and the challenge is a great alternative to the standard Tournament run. Better get to work if you want to claim the ultimate unlockables in the game...
