ANFERNEE SIMONS Highlights | 2024-26 Season

Anfernee Simons had an eventful 2025-26 season, getting traded twice and ultimately finding a new home in free agency! Simons began the 2025-26 season with the Boston Celtics, after being traded from the Portland Trail Blazers in June 2025 in a deal that sent Jrue Holiday to Portland. He primarily played a reserve role for Boston. On February 3, 2026, ahead of the trade deadline, the Celtics traded Simons (along with a second-round pick) to the Chicago Bulls in exchange for Nikola Vučević and a second-round pick. Simons appeared in a total of 55 games during the 2025-26 season, starting in 5 of them. Following the 2025-26 season, Simons entered free agency. In July 2026, he agreed to a two-year, $12.3 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, with the second year being a player option. Following his rookie season, Love became a free agent in July 2026. He recently signed a new two-way contract with the Philadelphia 76ers on July 5, 2026, meaning he will likely split his time next season between Philadelphia and their G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats.
