Dov Waterman - Beneath the Void (Broken Boy Remix)

The collaborative reimagining of Dov Waterman's "Cycles" is a diverse musical exploration of genre. This remix ep brings together a wide collective of producers—Broken Boy, aardonyx, Vegard Solbakken, Sc00ps, and FEED, to navigate the heavy themes of the original through a wide-reaching sonic lens that spans from high-velocity Drum & Bass to grounded, rhythmic House. The release thrives on a beautiful synergy, where the raw emotional weight of Dov's original compositions—centered on heartbreak, trauma, and the strength of vulnerability—is translated into new physical movements. Across the five interpretations, the music unfolds through a blend of complex rhythmic patterns and shifting textures. Whether it is the frantic energy of a breakbeat or the steady pulse of a four-to-the-floor groove, each remixer maintains the soul of the source material while offering a unique outcome born from their own sonic signature.
